Discovering the world with Ravensburger is child’s play

Playing is much more than a fun pastime for children - it is their way of discovering the world, understanding it and helping to shape it. Play comes naturally to children and, along the way, they learn and develop new skills. With our Ravensburger children's games, we want to accompany and support them on this path: with children's board games that can be anything. Just not boring.

Don’t get bored, get out the game board!

So much more than just a game

Ravensburger and children's games are like summer and holidays or tea and biscuits: They simply belong together. Since 1884, Ravensburger has stood for quality, great ideas and fun for children's board games. With our board games for children, we love to encourage and inspire children to experience the pure joy of playing games as they learn about the world; whether it’s with Snail’s Race, Bugs in the Kitchen or classic Labyrinth.

For children of all generations: the children's game classics

Playing a part in childhood and family traditions

There are such classic children's games that they form part of our family history – they play a role in family traditions and in those funny anecdotes passed from generation to generation. Classic children’s games like Labyrinth, Funny Bunny or memory are just some examples. These familiar games are quick to get started because we already know the rules: or of course we might have made up our own family rules over the years. And, as every game is a new experience, we’ll make new memories to join the old ones too!

Development in play

Why children always win when they play - even when they lose

When playing, children get to know the world better, and they also get to know themselves better too. Because at play they can experience a whole range of emotions - from thrills, concentration and excitement to joy, triumph and anger to patience, empathy, team spirit, disappointment and hope. At play, children also learn to deal with defeat and not to give up when they don't win. We all love to win the game but, in playing games, we also learn to celebrate other’s successes and not to give up when things don’t go our way. Every time the game board comes out, there’s something new to learn so every player is a winner in the end!
